In 2008 I worked as a freelance journalist reporting on the Piracy in the Gulf of Aden.
I researched and reported on pirate attacks on ships in the area and the growing instability of the region.
I was embedded on a warship for a month and accompanied Dutch Special Forces into Mogadishu port and wrote about my experience.
I had articles published including in: Jane’s Defence Review, Jane’s Defence Weekly, Maxim magazine.
I am a qualified Broadcast Journalist (PgDip Broadcast Journalism). I started my career working as a trainee investigative journalist for ITV West. So you can be sure that I will always research a story thoroughly and report on it accurately.
